Had to bend down the retaining tabs (on the drum) a little to allow the paddle to slide on. Placed the paddle with the tabs in all of the grooved slots, pushing down with one hand, I used my palm to firmly push/tap it into its locked position. Tested the resistance of the motor windings. They showed around 2.5 ohms. This proved that the motor was bad. The new motor showed around 3.5 ohms. I installed it back in place and the washing machine worked fine. Read more
