So I read a number of the earlier posts regarding the required repairs and went forward with all those repairs. In short, I replaced the wiring harness, door switches, and bulbs. The problem still persisted so I went ahead and replaced the control board. That did the trick. So for my unit, LG LFX25960ST replacing all those components were required. Ordered replacement glass the same day I broke the shelf and I received it within 3 days. All I had to do was drop the glass into the frame in the fridge, so no repair time at all. The hardest part was cleaning up all that glass. Just a note of caution to others doing this. Tempered glass does not just break, it sort of "explodes."
