Used a short (just barely extends past the end of the roller) sheet metal screw to secure the roller in the upper sliding section of the handle (handle in place first). Originally, replaced the door open/close motor thinking it was failing, but after a while ice chute door started to not fully open again. That left only two other failure modes - - signal pulse duration from control board, or the convoluted plastic link, lever, and cap assembly shaft binding/bending. Replaced them all.
