I ordered the insulation kit for the range. Completely dismantled the range. Had to remove the remaining insulation. Then removed all evidence of the mice infestation. Scrubbed and deodorized the oven shell, covered all holes and entry places in the back and bottom with stainless steel screen. REPLACED TIMER. HOWEVER, OLD TIMER HAD A WHITE JUMPER WIRE BETWEEN TWO OF THE TERMINALS. THE NEW TIMER WAS MISSING ONE OF THE REQUIRED TERMINALS. AFTER LOOKING AT TIMERS FROM OTHER WEB VENDORS, I DECIDED I HAD THE ONLY TIMER AVAILABLE. I LOOKED AT THE NEW TIMER AGAIN, AND SAW THAT IT HAD A JUMPER BAR BUILT IN AND THE WHITE JUMPER WIRE WAS NOT NEEDED. I FINISHED INSTALLING THE NEW TIMER, AND THE DRYER WORKS FINE. Read more
