Cut off old connector and attached new one. Was very easy. But then the water line sprung a leak above the connector. Once on, the connector can't be removed, so I had to order another connector (paying shipping again), cut away the connector and leaking section of hose, then reinstall the new connector. Removed the old fan housing. Removed the fan from its housing and took the fan blade off. I then smelled the fan and it smelt of burnt insulation.
