The lamp cover and freezer door gasket were simple to replace, however before doing the repairs I discovered that the water line to the ice maker was leaking therefore I got help from a repair person at a local appliance store to fix the line and he also helped with the installation of the ice chute door....I would say the most difficult part was getting to the old ice chute door to replace as you have to be careful that you don't break one of the tabs holding the dispenser unit in place, but... So I read a number of the earlier posts regarding the required repairs and went forward with all those repairs. In short, I replaced the wiring harness, door switches, and bulbs. The problem still persisted so I went ahead and replaced the control board. That did the trick. So for my unit, LG LFX25960ST replacing all those components were required.
