The top sprayer arm was worn after 20 plus years of use. I replaced the "Washer Arm Retaining Clip/Outlet, Snap/ Upper Wash Arm". I first viewed a YouTube video to show me some troubleshooting tips. Narrow the "thump" to the upper wash arm. A simple fix. Unscrew the old arm. Assemble the three parts together. Screw the new assembly in place. No tools required. Ordered the new o-rings for the pump housing and main filter screen unit. Cleaned all water hardness and other debris out of all parts. Main filter and inside parts clogged with water hardness/limescale and other debris. The 3" wide round filter internal was completely clogged with debris and some of the filter holes we crystallized with water limescale. Got my son to fix it for me. He had to pull the dishwasher out from under the counter to reach the remaining part of the door latch. He removed the spring mechanism and placed it onto the new replacement latch and replaced the single screw holding the latch onto the dishwasher. Took him about half an hour. It's good to have sons!
