I removed the single screw that held the existing lens in place and removed the lens. I then used an awl to properly line up the new lens in place, since it is in an inconvenient spot inside the dryer drum. Then I taped the lens in place temporarily with blue tape, removed the awl and re-installed the screw and tightened it securely. I finished the job by removing the blue tape.
