Found the control panel ribbon cable connection at the control board had damaged contact area that was not fixable. Replaced the control panel assembly and solved all problems. The control panel is not a repairable part. It is totally sealed assembly with its connecting ribbon cable captive to the panel. Replacement is the only option. Appliancepartspro was the lowest cost source for the panel and delivery was prompt. Read more
Three possible reasons, door latch/ control board or control panel. It turned out the flat wire from the control panel was corroded. Changed the part and now washer works fine. The control panel was isolated as problem with use of multimeter. Read more
