Ordered the new o-rings for the pump housing and main filter screen unit. Cleaned all water hardness and other debris out of all parts. Main filter and inside parts clogged with water hardness/limescale and other debris. The 3" wide round filter internal was completely clogged with debris and some of the filter holes we crystallized with water limescale. To get to it, the dishwasher has to be removed and positioned face-down (drain first, use towels/drop-cloth). Read more
Replaced the heater element, per the video. Also had to connect a new terminal to one of the heater element wires. Once the heater was again connected electrically, the washer completed the entire wash cycle without hesitation. (During the time that the heater element was non-functional, the control "dial" would stop near the bottom, about half way through the cycle, and had to be advanced "one click" manually).
