Searched the dishwasher model on ApplianceParts (had used them for a washing machine repair a few years earlier). Was looking for an exploded diagram of the internal parts so I could figure out what might be the problem. There was a video for a motor seal repair kit that seemed to address the bearings which is what I suspected was the culprit. Color: Biscuit. Size: 1 qt. can uncut. Enamel paint.

Dishwasher plastic heating element nut. Used to hold down the heating element.
Size: 10-32 x 15/16 inch.

It was a simple replacement except that the stainless panel was slightly sprung (bent) so it took a little "coaxing" to get it to match up with the existing door frame. It's not perfect but only me and dishwasher will ever know!! Read more
