Bearings were worn out makeing a lot of noise Lawrence L. • Largo , FL • August 08, 2015
I had a lot of problems removing the spin hub, I had to use an air impact wrench to un screw it even then it was very hard, it did not go easy with the hammer & pipe wrench as shown in the video. It was also very hard to remove the bottom spin bearing I had to cut the bearing retainer with a dremel tool so I could get my puller on it. After I struggled to get it apart The repair went very easy, I used brake spring pliers to remove the springs it worked like a charm. I am very pleased with...

I followed the Appliance Parts Pro's advice videos for the Maytag MAV6451AWW Atlantis washer on replacing the snubber ring and the suspension springs. Everything went just fine except replacing the two rear most suspension springs. None of the videos illustrated REINSTALLING the REAR springs which is extremely difficult because you can't get enough leverage with your arm extended. Observing my frustration, my wife recommended taking off the back side. You can't simply take off the back,...

Washer was leaking between outer tub and mounting base plate Jeffrey T. • Stallings , NC • May 07, 2016
Replaced all seals, unfortunately it is still leaking. I can see where it is leaking from. I am going to tear it back down use some ultra grey gasket maker and reinstall tub gasket. Hoping that works. If it still leaks I will be using the washer as a large paper weight.

While trying to remove tub seal hub (which came off in six pieces I call it a "TOUGH" hub) I accidentally cracked the outside tub. I have received the new HT transmission which came with a new tub seal kit PN W102119156. I ordered a seal kit when I ordered the transmission not knowing it came with a tub seal. I also ordered an outside tub it is on manufacture back order. AppliancePartsPros.com is keeping me up to date on the back order part, The hub was the hardest part to remove. The video's...

The upper agitator kept floating off Brian T. • Pine Grove Mills , PA • October 02, 2018
New parts did the trick. Very easy to replace. Did not need to replace the base agitator, the fabric dispenser, or the screw; but, while it was apart it was simple to do.
