This harness plug connects the dishwasher's wiring to the water inlet valve. Replacing a burnt, brittle, or loose connector restores a solid electrical connection so the valve energizes correctly and the tub fills when the cycle begins.
Dishwasher had begun going through the cycles with not enough water in the chamber. Suspect was the water inlet valve. Checked the AppliancePartsPros video for this repair and ordered the valve from them. It arrived in a timely manner -as usual- and I pulled the dishwasher out, removed the kick toe cover, then the structural brace behind it then removed the valve.
