I ordered a new interface display assembly to replace the cracked/broken face plate. You have to replace the whole interface display as the face plate is built integral with the interface. There is no option to just replace the plastic. The repair was extremely easy and involved prying off the old display with a flat head screwdriver, unplugging the old display, plugging in the new display and snapping it back into position. I found the appropriate parts on the appliancepartspros.com website and placed the order. I recieved an email informing me that the parts were on back order with an expected ship date by the manufacturer. It took a while for the part to arrive, but well worth the wait. We had been keeping the door closed with a wedge, and the fix was very easy and the parts were exactly what was needed. Now the door works like new and we aren't looking at a broken door cap.
