Turned power to oven off at breaker box. Opened oven door. Unscrewed 3 Phillips-head screws on chrome trim around control panel. Unscrewed 2 Phillips-head screws holding selector switch. Laid control panel down on top of closed oven door. Removed wires by hand from old switch and connected them to the same terminals on the new switch (the wire connectors pull off easily). Using pliers, snapped off all but the lowest segment of shaft on replacement switch. Put shaft through hole in control... Read more
