The part was easily replaced. The biggest problem was that the front leg “caps” were shown in the drawings as separate parts. Would they be included with the kick plate or not? Were they ordered as the pair or did you need to order two? From the drawing it seemed they would not come with the part. So I ordered one. I was able to access the icemaker by just emptying the top shelf of the freezer and removing it. It needed to be cleaned anyways. The removal is pretty simple. To put the part back in place I found a few youtube videos on correct placement and then was able to wedge myself in the freezer to make the repair.
