Ordered a new one from APP, which arrived within a week. Simple fix, nothing special. What IS remarkable is that within 5 minutes on the phone, the service agent from APP had identified the part and found it in the catalog. By contrast, I spent probably 25 minutes on the phone with Samsung Canada, whose agent had no idea what I was trying to order. Replaced ice maker assembly because ice was always presented like crushed ice instead of cubes. Still had icing issue, so hit reset and watched water as it cycled to fill ice tray. Water dripped from tube outside of nozzle. Pulled refrigerator away from wall and removed cover of water supply tube. The tube had broken into two pieces allowing water to slip past and drip into freezer compartment. Replaced tube in about 15 minutes and we have no icing issues anymore Read more
