We needed to replace the grate which was a simple matter once we had the grate in hand: you just place it on the pan; no nuts, bolts or tools needed. The difficult part, before we located Appliance Parts Pros on line was that we didn't know what the part was called nor how to locate it. We googled the question for the name of the part, then went to the Hotpoint website and put in the number of our stove. This didn't produce any positive results. This is the left side hinge guard. For right side use WB34K3.
