The Mounting Bolts are OEM parts compatible with GE microwaves. These bolts play a vital role in securely attaching the microwave to the mounting bracket or wall, ensuring stability and safe operation.
The causes of faulty mounting bolts can vary. Over time, constant use and vibrations can loosen the bolts, compromising the stability of the microwave. Additionally, improper installation or overtightening can lead to stripped or damaged threads.
Symptoms of bad mounting bolts may include:
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
I refused to purchase the entire installation kit from GE for about $70, then throw out all parts except the bolts we needed. After searching the web all weekend, I found what we needed on AppliancePartsPro.com. I ordered it on a Sunday evening and we had our bolts on Tuesday. I was amazed to have finally found just what I wanted and to have them arrive so fast. This website is now bookmarked on our computer. So happy to have everything in place again. Read more

Followed the suggestions and washed off the wave guide cover first (it had some food soil on it). Put it back on and tried operating the microwave with nothing in it. Got a real big spark then. With no power in the unit I started to investigate. I removed the power cord and checked the supply. Then I removed a few panels from the unit. The parts are readily accessible and the wiring diagrams on the computer are very helpful. I removed the wires from each device and the probed the devices. I ordered the parts from Appliance Parts Pros online and they shipped the parts in less than one day! Read more
Replaced turntable. The axels of the small wheels on the turn table degraded after hard usage (20 minutes of near continuous use on small tasks). They would now spark and smoke with noxious fumes. Trivial solution: replace the turn table (the wheels don't seem to be replaceable). Read more
This is a replacement control panel button for your microwave. It is made of black plastic and is less than half an inch in diameter. This button is sold individually. Two screws removed the motor and the mount from the bottom of the oven. The new motor and mount replacement parts in the kit were installed easily by replacing the two mounting screws. Reassembly was the reverse of disassembly. Read more
