I unplugged the dryer and opened up the dry and found the belt had broke.After removing the tub I noticed the heating coils where broke and the idle pulley broken. Simply replaced deflector and we are back in business. My gas dryer is OLD, but it still works. As long as I can still find parts for it I will continue to use it. NEW BLOCK AND NEW WIRE CONNECTORS FIRMLY HELD THE DISCONNECTED LOOSE WIRES. ONCE CONNECTION WAS SECURE, HEAT FUNCTION WAS RESTORED. Read more

After taking off the top and front panels to access the drum, it was easy to see what the problem was. The front drum support was worn through and the 3 drum support glides were gone. The rear drum bearing was also completely worn out. And while I had the dryer apart I also replaced the idler pulley and drive belt. The only hard part was putting the drive belt back on the motor shaft and idler pulley. The dryer is back to drying clothes like a new machine. Read more
After taking the top apart, I found the drum bearing was completely worn through. Found your website, great parts list, and clear schematics for my appliance. Also, the video was very helpful. Ordered the parts I needed to repair the front support bearing, bushings (3), door seal, drive belt, idler pully, and felt seal. Read more
