The Water Inlet Valve Assembly is an OEM part for Frigidaire washing machines. This assembly controls the flow of water into the washing machine during the fill cycles, ensuring the correct amount of water enters the tub.

This is my third repair of this type. The first was a stand-alone washer and was very easy, because there was a plate on which the inlet valve assembly was mounted, and it was easily removed. This trunnion plate secures the washer's inner basket to the drive hub/trunnion, keeping the tub centered and stable during spin. Replace it if the basket feels loose, wobbles, or makes scraping/knocking noises from the hub area. What it does:
The seal at the bottom of the tub had started to fail. On large loads water would leak so I ordered a new one rubber seal. Getting the trunnion off the transmission shaft was hard as it was calcified and corroded. I used a wire brush to get some of it off and then used a lot of WD-40.
