Fixes loud banging and excessive vibration during spin when suspension spring hangs loose. This bracket secures the spring to the cabinet for stable operation.
Ordered the springs and shocks. Noticed that the washer had placement for 4 springs, but the factory only installs 2 (or they forgot to install the other two on my machine). Prior to ordering parts I had pulled the pump strainer basket and cleaned it out. There was both soft and hard scale build up. The tub-to-pump hose was also pretty crusty/slimey.
