Fridge warm freezer cold failed defrost thermostat Linh V. • Galloway , NJ • August 15, 2016
Initially purchased an evap fan motor, as it was listed as the most common failed component. Of course, once I pulled the cover out of the freezer, the fan motor was just fine, but the coils were a block of ice. So far, it looks like the thermostat was the source of the issue. For anyone experiencing the warm fridge, cold freezer, I recommend pulling the cover off and taking a look before ordering any parts. This rear roller is a replacement for the rollers in a refrigerator. The rollers are not used often, but they have an important purpose. They make it easier to move the refrigerator from one area to another. If the roller had been damaged and is not working properly, it will be difficult to maneuver the refrigerator. Replacing the damaged roller with a new one before moving the refrigerator a long distance is a good idea. The rollers on the refrigerator are meant to handle a lot of pressure. However, they can still wear down and break eventually. They could also be damaged during a previous move. Before replacing the rear roller, unplug the refrigerator and remove the connection to the water supply. The replacement will require only a few tools, such as a screwdriver. It may require moving other parts of the refrigerator to get access to the rear rollers. The rear roller will work for certain models of refrigerators from Whirlpool, GE, KitchenAid, Inglis, Maytag, Admiral, International, Amana, Jenn-Air, Crosley, and Magic Chef. This is a genuine OEM replacement part that is sold individually.

Broken front cabinet roller. Don K. • South Jordan , UT • August 27, 2017
Removed all the food from the freezer and most from the fridge before starting. Tipped fridge back until I could place a 2 x 4 a couple of inches behind the front rollers. With the front of the fridge now approximately 3 to 4" off the ground you can remove the adjusting bolt and the roller assembly can be pulled out of the brackets. Slide out of the notches where that hold it into the bracket. Same to install.
