Holder
Genuine Lg part
By: Lg
Part Number: MEG64919202

The Holder is an OEM part for LG front-loading washing machines. It is a plastic mounting bracket or suspension system that attaches to the rear of the washer tub and helps secure internal components like hoses, pulleys, and the rear bearing in place during spin cycles. Subject to force and vibration, the holder must withstand years of washing use.

Symptoms of a bad holder include:

  • Loosening or detaching internal parts leading to noise and imbalance
  • Cracking or damage of the plastic bracketry
  • Bearing or tub damage from improperly secured components

Causes can be fatigue from repeated wash cycles, stress cracks from heavy loads, or material deterioration over time. Replace with this OEM LG holder to maintain drum balance and suspend components securely. It is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore front-load washers.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Bad bearings seal and spider   David R. • Jacksonville , FL • February 04, 2017

If your LG Front load washers sounds like a freight train, STOP USING IT. You're doing more damage and will need more parts to fix it. ( I am however pretty mechanically inclined.) Watch this video before you start tearing your LG apart. APP did a great job explaining the steps of the repair. Do a search on this site or youtube.com with... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Broken door handle   James D. • Cottonwood , AZ • September 15, 2014

I removed all the screws and removed the outside shell on the door. Had to be careful as the clear plastic cover and the glass dome can fall off / out. Removed the broken door handle and replaced it with the new handle. Pay attention to the proper assembly of the door handle, latch and spring clip. I put everything back together being careful with the glass dome and completed the job in approximately 15 minutes. Read more
