Replaced the door latch. It took about 5 minutes. The washing machine is working properly. Read more
Used a multimeter to determine whether the motor or inverter was bad (Got Error 54 in service mode), which usually means bad motor or inverter. Switchboard was spiking power to the inverter (could hear faint clicking, and the multimeter spiked readings when testing the inverter's terminals from the switchboard, and the motor's wires all checked out with proper ohmage. Replaced it. It was fairly easy to replace. The best part is I tried to have someone service the machine, but the part was on backorder from GE at least 14 weeks. Appliance Part Pros got me the part in 2 days. Read more
