Replaced the RING TUB - CAUTION - be careful when the top of the washer is removed ( 2 screws at the rear and pushed forward to release) because the bare steel plates under the top portion are VERY sharp, I used thick rubber gloves and ran a thick wad of sandpaper round all the sharp edges before I started to replace the ring. Pulled the panel off, replaced the switch. The knob itself had an insert clip in it already, so I bought an extra one for nothing. Job complete dryer works perfect again. Read more

This washer lid is black in color on the underside. The writing pictured in the picture of the underside of the lid is no longer included as a part of the lid.
