This washer impeller mounts at the bottom of the tub to generate the water currents that move and roll garments during the wash cycle. Replacing a cracked or stripped impeller restores proper turnover and cleaning performance.
- Creates the wash action by circulating water and moving fabrics through the load
- Secures to the drive hub; worn splines or a damaged center can cause slippage
- Common symptoms: poor cleaning, clothes not moving during wash, clicking/grinding from the wash plate area, visible cracks or looseness
- Direct replacement for the low-profile agitator "wash plate" style
What's included: 1 impeller Installation notes:
- Disconnect power and turn off water supply before servicing
- Remove the center cap and retaining screw/bolt; lift the old impeller straight up
- Clean the hub splines; seat the new impeller fully and tighten the fastener securely
- Avoid prying against the tub; test on a short cycle to ensure proper wash action

Leaking seal, loud bearings Donald P. • Collinsville , IL • September 09, 2019
Ordered the shaft, bearing, seal kit. I didn’t order the tool to press the bearings in. If you’re not experienced in changing bearings, I suggest you order it. Straight forward repair. One more thing, get a 1-1/4 “ short box wrench for taking off the shaft bit.
