Ge WR17X4310 Ice Bucket And Auger Assembly OEM Part

I ordered a new bucket and auger combination--I didn't want to have to completely disassemble the mechanism to replace the rusted auger helix dispenser, so for about twice the cost of the auger alone I got the complete assembly. The product arrived in pristine condition less than 48 hours after I purchased it online. About 10 minutes later (most of that spent taking out the old bucket and finding my philips head screwdriver), I had removed the four screws holding the cover plate on the old unit and reattached it to this new unit. I installed it into the refrigerator, where it fit like a glove. I had fresh, clean ice about two hours later, and the next day the bucket was filled. I ordered the part online on Tuesday at 2:30 PM CST. I couldn't believe it when the part arrived the very next day at 3:30 PM CST. I removed the old part and disassembled the unit, and replaced it with the new ice bucket and auger assembly. I had the new part installed and functioning by 4:00.

Replaced entire ice dispenser box. Just had 4 screws to replace the front panel/access door onto the new ice dispenser. I ordered a new Bucket & Auger from appliancepros.com and replaced my old one. The item was received in two days. It was an relatively easy fix. The only effort was replacing the front plate by removing four screws from the old bucket and screwing the plate onto the new bucket. The bucket assy. fit perfectly and the ice dispenser is working as it is supposed to.
