How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2066342 / WR17X4310 Ice Bucket And Auger Assembly

I ordered the part online on Tuesday at 2:30 PM CST. I couldn't believe it when the part arrived the very next day at 3:30 PM CST. I removed the old part and disassembled the unit, and replaced it with the new ice bucket and auger assembly. I had the new part installed and functioning by 4:00. 

Replaced entire ice dispenser box. Just had 4 screws to replace the front panel/access door onto the new ice dispenser. By the way, I want to say how impressed I am with the order process, pricing, and especially with the very fast shipping. It showed up the day after I'd ordered it. Very Impressed!!! 

I ordered a new Bucket & Auger from appliancepros.com and replaced my old one. The item was received in two days. It was an relatively easy fix. The only effort was replacing the front plate by removing four screws from the old bucket and screwing the plate onto the new bucket. The bucket assy. fit perfectly and the ice dispenser is working as it is supposed to. 

Removed front section from broken ice bucket unit, 4 screws, and reattached to new ice bucket assembly. Repair took about 5 minutes Removed assembly from back of freezer that contained cube dispenser solenoid, this assembly also had bucket shelf riveted to it and had to be removed as an assembly. 2 screw in shelf and three screws on back panel holding cube dispenser. Detached power cord, 2 screws, from back of freezer allowing removal of unit holding cube dispenser solenoid. Removed two electrical connections from solenoid, removed two screw holding solenoid to panel and installed new unit. Reinstalled assembly into freezer compartment. Repair took about 15 minutes.

Ordered new assembly from Appliance Parts Pros. 

I fixed it by getting the model and serial number written down, made a call to appliance pros (as I usually do) told them the model and serial numbers, they expertly looked up the unit, told her which parts needed replacing. She took my credit card info and sent me the parts. Simple, they were exact and fit perfectly. What ever appliances I need to fix, you guys are my source. Bosch, GE, whatever, you have always helped me get the replacement part. Looking below, on this repair, no tools at all.
