Description
This lower gearcase housing encloses and supports the planetary and lower gear train in a stand mixer. Replacing a damaged housing restores alignment and helps contain lubrication for quieter, consistent mixing performance.
- Houses the lower gear train and planetary shaft to maintain alignment
- Provides a sealed cavity to help retain grease around gears
- Replaces cracked, stripped, or warped housings that cause wobble or noise
- Helpful when you see grease seepage or cosmetic damage to the lower case
What's included: One lower gearcase housing in a white finish. Install notes:
- Unplug the mixer and remove bowl and attachments before service
- Open the motor head and remove the planetary/gear stack as required
- Transfer components to the new housing; renew food-grade mixer grease if servicing gears
- Reassemble and verify beater-to-bowl clearance and smooth operation
