Part Number: 5303931775
The Dryer Gas Valve Coil Kit is an OEM part for Frigidaire dryers. This kit includes solenoid coils necessary for the opening and closing of the gas valve during the drying cycle. These coils are vital for controlling the flow of gas into the burner, enabling the ignition and maintaining the flame required to dry clothes effectively.
Symptoms of a bad Dryer Gas Valve Coil Kit include:
- No heat or insufficient heat in the dryer.
- The dryer stops heating partway through the cycle.
- A "clicking" noise when the dryer attempts to ignite the gas flame but fails.
- Gas smell from the dryer, indicating incomplete combustion.
Causes of a bad coil kit can include electrical failure within the coils, mechanical wear from repeated use, or overheating that damages the coil's integrity.
This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.
This part fixes the following symptoms
-
No heat or not enough heat
-
Takes too long to dry

Our dryer didn't heat Larry L. • Poway , CA • November 10, 2014
Being a complete DIY I hate to call some unknown person into my home knowing that just to get them there will cost me more than I will spend for parts that I don't need. After all, they are trying to make a living and by selling me parts that I don't need will increase their profits.
I've dealt with APP before and was impressed by their site because I could find both mechanical and electrical drawings for almost everything I have.
I looked up my dryer, decided what was probably the problem,...

Genuine Frigidaire part
By: Frigidaire
Part Number: 5303207409
This genuine OEM replacement part is a gas valve assembly for dryers. The burner and gas valve assembly is a complete assembly that contains the burner that distributes the gas in a way that creates an even flame allowing for heat to be distributed properly to perform the dryer's essential functions. If the dryer is no longer drying clothes effectively, or heating properly, then it might be time for it to be replaced. Luckily repairing a gas valve assembly is an easy fix.To replace the burner and gas valve assembly, begin by shutting off power to the appliance. Next, pull the dryer away from the wall to gain access to the back panel. Remove the back panel and locate the gas valve assembly. Remove the mounting screws that hold it in place. After removing the screws use both hands to pull and release the old valve assembly. Set it off to the side and proceed to install the new one by refastening the screws that hold it in place. This replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Sears/Kenmore brand washers.

Gas smell in the dryer after a cycle completed no smell outside the dryer (until i opened the door!) Matthew M. • Mcfarland , WI • April 25, 2016
Frigidaire Gallery gas dryer from maybe 15 years ago. Based on the fact the the smell was only in the dryer, I concluded it must be the gas valve failing to completely seal when closed. After looking at the insides again, I suppose it is possible that it was a connection near the burner, but that stuff had remained untouched for 10 years so I still think I made a good assumption. I got a new ignitor as well since I was in there, and compared to the valve, it was cheap! I thought I could get in...

Restore reliable ignition and even oven heat. This oven burner channels gas from the safety valve and mixes air to produce an even flame across the bake area, helping your range preheat properly and maintain steady baking temperatures.
- Distributes the gas/air mixture for the bake cycle and ignites along the burner ports for a consistent flame
- Supports even heat across the oven cavity to reduce hot and cold spots while baking
- Common signs of failure: no bake flame or intermittent ignition, long preheat times, uneven baking, visible rust or holes in the burner
- Works in conjunction with the oven igniter; inspect the igniter if weak ignition persists
What's included: One oven burner assembly. Install notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off the gas supply before servicing
- Remove oven racks, bottom panel, and flame spreader to access the burner
- Unfasten the burner, lift it off the orifice, and transfer the existing igniter and hardware to the new burner if needed
- Reinstall, ensure proper alignment over the gas orifice, restore gas/power, and verify a stable blue flame

- Can reduce abnormal noises caused by damaged or unbalanced blades
What's included:
- One replacement blade fan
Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before starting any repair
- Remove the evaporator cover/panel to access the fan assembly per your model's service instructions

The fan blew up in my frigidaire ac Melvin P. • Shawnee , OK • June 20, 2014
My wife insisted that our new Frigidaire 18,000btu window unit wasn't draining water like she thought it should. She insisted I drill a hole in the bottom of the unit to allow the water to drain because she could hear it splashing around in the unit. (Heaven forbid that Frigidaire didn't know what they were doing when they built the cabinet for the unit). So of course, no one's happy if the wife's not happy, I did what she wanted. When I drilled the 1/2" hole into the bottom of the cabinet the...
