Hearing a metal on metal noise and not actually circulate water cancelling cycle worked fine After some web research, I concluded it was highly likely to be the circulation pump, so I watched the video on AppliancePartPros.com and realized it was a lengthy repair (a lot of steps) but not technically difficult.
