I was ready to scrap my $300. mixer and get another one. I thought it certainly would cost more than it was worth to send it in for repairs. Then I watched a video by AppliancePartsPros.com and saw that it may just be a worn gear. So I followed their directions on taking it apart and inspecting it. I ordered a $13. gear, replaced it in about an hour, re-greased it, and now it works like new. They saved me about $300. Their step by step videos are great. They know their stuff! Read more
