Ge WB06X10420 Turntable Coupler OEM Part

Found coupler between motor and turntable broken. Ordered from this site. Upon receipt, replaced broken coupler with new one. Turntable back to normal.

THE TROUBLE SHOOT WAS PRETTY EASY TO SEE THAT IT WAS the turntable coupler. The website is super easy to navigate and the part was less than $5. SHIPPING WAS MORE EXOENSIVE THAN THE PART. PART GOT HERE REGULAR SPEED IN 4 DAYS. I THEN SIMPLY PRESSED IT INTO THE FLOOR OF THE MICROWAVE AND VOILA! ! MY WIFE'S COFFEE US NOW PERFECTLY HEATED AS THAT GLASs TABLE SPINS again.

Bought both replacement parts. Unplugged power. 5 screws will unhinge the bottom hanging panel of the MW. Be careful of the lighting unit also a part of the panel. Motor is removed with one set screw after you unplug its power source. I inspected the Coupler and it was also damaged (stem cracked). I replaced the Coupler first (make sure fitted to proper height for Turning Plate inside MW) then fitted the new motor to the Coupler stem, put new motor back into its holder, returned set screw, and hooked power source back up. Tested the repair. Might as well pull off the bottom panel and clean it all up since you have gone that far. Less than 10 minutes excluding scrubbing down the panel.

I bought a replacement coupler from Appliance Parts Pros. The part that arrived didn’t fit quite right when I tried to install it. It wasn’t fitting all the way down the drive shaft. This was because of a cam sticking out of the replacement part that didn’t exist on the original part. This cam was hanging up on the opening in the floor of the microwave that led to the turntable drive shaft. This was remedied easily with a diagonal pliers. Now everything is working correctly.
