Reignition Module (Spark Module)

This reignition module controls and directs the spark to a cooktop's surface burners so they ignite reliably and re-spark if a flame goes out. It restores burner ignition performance and reduces persistent sparking. What it does:

  • Sends high-voltage spark to the burner ignitors to light the gas flow
  • Attempts automatic re-ignition when a flame is extinguished (safe, intermittent sparking)
  • Stops sending spark when the burner control is off
  • Commonly linked to symptoms like burners not lighting, constant clicking, or no spark at ignition
