The drive control cable allows for a lawnmower to engage with the gear case and the brake to disengage. It is easy to tell when the line is damaged because the brake will not disengage.A pair of pliers is needed to complete this repair, but more tools may be necessary in order to access the location of the drive control mechanism, as well.
