Wes for Model Number SHX68T55UC/02 I'm confused. I think that my impeller is messed up on my Bosch dishwasher. My filters are clean and I have good water source with good pressure, but the dishes don't get clean, like; a coffee cup will be clean, but it will still have coffee film around the inside of the cup. Or, if there is peanut butter on any of the dishes, it will not only, not get clean, it will transfer that peanut butter film to other dishes. This dishwasher never has got the dishes clean since new. I am suspecting the impeller, but do you have any other ideas? I was chatting with Shawn about the pump being one unit, as I am not able to replace the impeller separately, but the pump is called a "Heat Pump". Is this "Heat Pump" the Main Pump that sends pressure to the wands and cleans the dishes?
Answer Wes, the heat pump is the main pump and is responsible for sending the water through the wash arms. You may want to check to ensure that the dishwasher water line is installed on the hot water line and that the hot water is primed through the sink by running the hot water for a couple of minutes. If this is not done, then the dishwasher tries to heat cold water which does not wash as well as when it directly receives hot water initially. Read More...
