Causes of a bad circulation motor and heater assembly can include electrical failures, wear and tear over time, or damage from debris or mineral buildup. A malfunctioning assembly can result in poor cleaning performance and water not being heated correctly.

Symptoms of a bad circulation motor and heater assembly include:

  • The dishwasher not cleaning dishes properly
  • Water not heating to the required temperature
  • Unusual noises such as grinding or humming during operation
  • Error codes related to water circulation or heating

This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore models.

Bruce, If there are no screws then yes, you would just uncrimp and then recrimp the base back in place.

we set the function, press start, close door, and 2 minutes later the item starts beeping continuously. pulled unit out for troubleshooting, started a cycle , noted the unit drains, starts to fill with water, stops filling then tries to cycle or spray the water , this appears to Not happen, then it tries to fill again , then tries the spray again but doesn't spray , I can hear the motor running but doesn't seem to run well or doesn't sound quite right, after a couple tries then it just starts beeping continuously until I reset , and the same thing keeps happening, what parts should I replace , thank you

1 Answer

Justin, as water is not spraying around in the dishwasher even though the motor is humming, the failure would be in the motor 00753351.

Steven, Unfortunately, this rubber boot will not be sold separately from the pump.

JP, water in the base pan is going to indicate a water leak. With the base pan dry, pour about 1 gallon of water into the tub. If water does not leak into the base pan, the failure would be the water valve 10023852 not allowing water through properly.

William, with the power supply to the dishwasher turned off, the heat pump on the circulation motor 00753351 would need to be tested for resistance and it should measure 15.2 Ohms across any of the terminals for the heater. If the heat pump fails the test, it would need to be replaced. If it has the correct resistance, the main power control 00752739 would need to be replaced.

It appears I have a small leak where circulator motor and heater assembly connects to the sump assembly. Right from the green boot looks like. It drips one drop at a time, then within a week of hefty use I get E15 and have to get the water out. I want to fix it, but not sure what to replace. Also, I dont want to disassemble everything just to figure out which seal must be replaced and then wait for it to come in the mail, if I can help it. Any suggestions? Thank you.

1 Answer

George, this could be a leak in the circulation motor 00753351, however, it would be recommended that the sump 00668102 is inspected for any cracks as well as at the diverter assembly 00751950. Unfortunately, there is not a guaranteed leak source without inspecting these parts.

Doug, You're on track, " E:02 Operates without heating check for Ground fault at water heater, Replace heat pump/heater, or Heater relay defective Replace the power module." You may want to start at the heat pump motor and check for 12 ohms resistance across the heater circuit contacts on the motor assembly, and 120 VAC from the heater relay on the power module on the side of the frame of the dishwasher. Thanks,

My Bosch keeps beeping continuously after 2 minutes in the cycle and it keeps filling until it leaks out. If I reset it it drains perfectly fine. I ran the diags and got the inlet valve error. I replaced the valve, no change; I replaced the control board, no change; I replaced the control board panel in the door, no change. I asked around in FB and here and they keep telling me about the float switch BUT THERE IS NO FLOAT SWITCH ANYWHERE (NOT IN MY DISHWASHER NOR IN ANY OF THE DIAGRAMS HERE). I am running out of options and I think it could be the Circulation Motor and Heater Assembly. Could it be? How does the SHP65T55UC/02 tells if there is enough water if there is no float switch? Is it a timer?

1 Answer

Victor, Units that do not have a float switch use the main control for a timed fill. Since only the control and valve are in the circuit and you have replaced the valve the control would need to be replaced. 00752738

Brian T for Model Number SHE65T52UC/02

Received error code E-15 due to water triggering the float. Systems seems to overfill to the point water enters the base triggering the float. I have taken care of low hanging issues, replaced water inlet valve, check valve and turbidity sensor. The issue has not changed but I am able to clear the computer of errors, E:00. The cycle then starts over with a normal start ending in water overflowing the basin into the base. I don't know how the dishwasher determines it is full. When the water check valve is open there seems to be a slight buzz coming from the vicinity of the circulation motor and drain pump. Drain pump seems to work fine. There is significant residue, that has been mostly cleaned away. Any thoughts as to a cause and/or solution?

1 Answer

Brian, You will want to check to make sure that the float switch in the case assembly is good and also check to make sure that there are no hoses or anything leaking causing this issue.

Keith, The heater as a whole would need to be replaced as there would be no washer that would fit.
