Kristin for Model Number SHP65TL5UC/01 Does this part regulate the water temperature? After running and almost complete cycle, the washer stops with about 7-10 minutes left and displays the E11 code. When I open the door, it is obvious the water was not at a high enough temperature to fully clean and sanitize. I know E11 indicates a bad thermistor which is built in to the circulation motor/heater assembly, but am wondering if replacing this part will address the water temp problem.
Answer Kristin, You can test the components of that assembly.Heater should have a resistence of about 11 ohms, thermister should read around 55K ohms at room temp of 72. Hi limit should be less than 1 ohm. If all these test good then a main control would most likely be your issue. If any readings are not correct then replace the heater assembly. Read More...
