Good E. for Model Number PRG364GDUS Gas Oven sputters after igniting, It never reaches proper temperature. The ignitor stays orange. So what should the ohm meter read?
Answer Hi. If the oven gas sputters during operation then the diaprahm in the safety valve part # 00415497 is defective. Remove power. Disconnect one wire off the safety valve terminals. Reading across the terminals should read 1-ohm resistance. And check each terminal to the valve metal body for shorts. The oven wheel in operation will read 3.0-3.3 vac across the terminals of a good operating device. If you have this voltage there then the igniter part # 00415504 needs replaced. Thank You.
