David for Model Number 702450 I ordered the control panel. I have a wall mounted oven/microwave/ stacks on top of each other. How do pull the thing out of the wall. It looks like there are no screws anywhere.
Answer Hi David. Remove power. Remove the oven door. Then you will be able to access the side trim screws. Remove the trim surrounding the microwave and the entire unit. This will give access to removing the microwave and power cord connected to the oven. Then you should be able to slightly pull the unit out of the wall. This will give access to the control panel screws of the front of the unit and below the keypad. This will give access to remove the top of the oven where the relay board is mounted. On some units you have to support the unit with a couple of stools or chairs and set onto them. You will need 2-people and a couple hrs. to do this. Take a cell picture of all wire connections. Remove and replace one wire at a time to insure proper installation. Do not touch the new board circuit. Ground yourself by touching the chassis metal and discharging the damaging effects of static (^ 30,000 vdc). Take the time to look over the terminal block and all electrical connections. Make sure all are tight.I did not have your exact model # , so in the future let us know and we can assist you better. Thank You. -- Read More...
