Laura When replacing the door gasket, what is the proper placement of the ribs? Several repairmen have been here, and the door gasket was removed, cleaned, replaced, and at this point, I am not certain it was replaced properly, thus, I cannot just copy what I see when installing a new door gasket. There is a wide "flange", and I don't know if this is the part that gets inserted into the channel, or if this wide part should be facing OUT toward the door. This is Bosch. Thank you!
Answer Laura, The larger round side of the door gasket will attach to the tub and the other side will attach to the door opening. When looking at the gasket on the outside it should be relatively smooth and on the inner back part will be 3 holes that go at the bottom. Read More...
