Mamawolf for Model Number GLWS1339ES0 I replaced the agitator on my washer. I notice the top of the one piece agitatir spins on it's own but when turning the agitator counter clockwise the agitator spins the entire tub but the bottom of the agitator itself stays stationary. As this is my first repair of any kind, I didn't notice if it did this before I did the repair. Is this normal for this washer or did I do something incorrectly?
Answer Mamawolf, You did a fine job, and a Great Job !!! Everything you mentioned and posted is correct. The auger portion of the agitator will rotate in one direction, and Lock and not move in the other direction. Yes the inner tub will rotate as well when setting in the "neutral" position, so all is "normal". Great Job !!! Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, October 25, 2016
