Sam for Model Number 790.9421240b Oven doesn't work properly. Sometimes heats fine, other times out on 350, only heats to about 220. Getting 240v to main power terminal, and to black and red wires at circuit board. Checked it and getting 116v to 117v at each terminal of the name heating element when oven set to 350. Name element, when disconnected shows 19 ohms, and doesn't show being shifted out. The spacing grids that keep the turns of the element in place are kind of burnt and broken in 2 places at the front. Also the oven temp probe shows 1072 ohms at room temp of about 66 degrees. Is it element or probe or the circuit board?
Answer Sam, for the range to intermittently fail to reach the set temperature, the failure would most likely be in the oven control 316557118 based on the information provided. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, April 27, 2022
