Cathy for Model Number 790 9641340C I Have a Kenmore electric range. I was in the middle of a self-clean cycle, the stove beeped and shows F40 on display. I cancelled the cycle. What is problem and what should I expect to pay to get this fixed? This happened about a year ago as well when trying the self clean cycle.
Answer Hello Cathy. Power supply error code. Check the supply coming from the wall. If good, replace the control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
