Ralph D. for Model Number FDB1100RHM2 My Frigidaire dishwasher will not complete washing cycle. The washing indicator light stay lit at all times. It will not show rinsing or drying. You can let it run for hours and it will just keep washing. I have replaced the control board and it did the same thing. I replaced both thermostats as well as the heating element and it still does the same thing. Do you have any ideas how to fix this problem?
Answer Hello Ralph, The unit is designed to pause and only circulate water during the water heating part of the cycle. The unit should be connected to a hot water supply of about 120° to 125°F and it has to heat the water to about 140°F. The control board has to see this water temperature increase to advance in the cycle. I would check for 120Vac to the heating element.
