Push normal washer button, hold button for several seconds,light comes on,the light above the start button flashes, push start button, all lights go off. no actions after that. Retry pushing normal wash button, have to push and hold the normal wash button, same non results. Any suggestions or educated guess of where the problem is?

Robert July 15, 2025 for Model Number FFBD2411NS6B All the wash selector lights work as usual. Nothing happens when pressing cycle start. The lights indicate the washing cycle has started and if left alone, the control lights show the normal progression of the cleaning cycle. There is no sound of water flowing or any motor noise. In other words, the control panel indicates everything is working normally. Troubleshooting, the fill valve and the float level switch work correctly. The door latch closes tightly and I assume the switch is working as the display works correctly. Does this sound like a failed circulation motor or the control board? Thanks

Dan April 16, 2023 for Model Number FDB1100RHS0 DW will run in any wash cycle but will run for hours and never changes from wash to rinse or dry. I can press the "rinse only" or "dry" cycle buttons and it will run through that cycle but never stop. Does that sound like a "control board issue"?

Ed July 02, 2021 for Model Number FFBD2406NW11B My dishwasher won't start when the start button is pressed. All the lights come on when I close the door as normal. 1 Answer Harold, it is recommended that the power supply going to the main control is tested for 120VAC. If there is not 120VAC, the wire connection at the junction box at the bottom of the dishwasher would need to be tested for 120VAC. If there is not voltage, the breaker would need to be checked to see if it is on. If there is voltage, the power supply would need to be turned off and the wires would need to be visually inspected for any corrosion and if they are connected properly.
