The Dishwasher Control Board is an OEM part for Frigidaire dishwashers. It operates as the central "brain" of the dishwasher, controlling functions like cycle selections, wash and rinse levels, heating elements, and input/output sensors.

Causes can be circuitry failures, moisture damage over time, or physical stresses from vibration.

Symptoms of a bad control board include:

  • Cycle failure or inability to start or complete washing
  • Temperature or input/output sensor malfunctions
  • Fault codes appearing or strange appliance behavior
  • Unresponsive buttons or input failures

This OEM Frigidaire part can also be used on Electrolux, Frigidaire, Gibson, Kelvinator, Westinghouse, and Sears/Kenmore.

Robert for Model Number FFBD2411NS6B

All the wash selector lights work as usual. Nothing happens when pressing cycle start. The lights indicate the washing cycle has started and if left alone, the control lights show the normal progression of the cleaning cycle. There is no sound of water flowing or any motor noise. In other words, the control panel indicates everything is working normally. Troubleshooting, the fill valve and the float level switch work correctly. The door latch closes tightly and I assume the switch is working as the display works correctly. Does this sound like a failed circulation motor or the control board? Thanks

Bret, if the status LEDs are flashing, the control is sensing the door is open. As the door latch tested good, the wires would need to be inspected for any loose connections or broken wires. If the wires are good, the main control 5304512731 would be the cause of failure.

Bill, Probably you need to test the door switch. If the unit thinks the door is open it will not start.

Hello Ed, If the door switches are operating properly, the water inlet valve is good, and the flood switch is not closed, (float is not held up), the issue will have to be the control 5304512731.

Harold, it is recommended that the power supply going to the main control is tested for 120VAC. If there is not 120VAC, the wire connection at the junction box at the bottom of the dishwasher would need to be tested for 120VAC. If there is not voltage, the breaker would need to be checked to see if it is on. If there is voltage, the power supply would need to be turned off and the wires would need to be visually inspected for any corrosion and if they are connected properly. If these check out properly, the user interface control 154852501 would be the most likely failure.

Donald, You will want to check to see if there is anything caught in the drain pump that is causing it to not drain. If this is not the case then test to see if the drain pump is getting 120 vac to it. If it is and the pump is not working then this will be a faulty pump. If it is not then the board would be the issue.
