Bob for Model Number FFBD2411NS6B dishes are not drying - i checked the heating element and high limit fuse and they both check ok, also I ran the diagnostic program and the heating element came on then, but when I run a regular wash cycle with heated dry it does not dry? Do I need a new board?
Answer Bob, Based on your post information, we wouldn't think you'd need a control board, but it's a remote possibility. With the heater and thermostat checking OK, and the heater activating in the test mode, your first check needs to be the water temperature in the bottom of the tub on the initial fill of a cycle. The water temperature needs to be at least 120-125 dgrs.F. If the water isn't hot enough, the control can't increase the water temperature and produce enough stored heat in the tub and articles to properly dry the dishes. Also make sure you're using a rinse agent to help disperse the water off the articles. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, August 2, 2017
