Autumn for Model Number FGID2466QF2A my dishwasher will not dry and will not stop running...I've tried the quick cycle, normal and still not drying and it runs for over 3 hrs until I open the door. What replacement component do I need?
Answer Autumn, The control board is a very good possibility, but there are a few things to check first. Make sure the water in the tub is hot enough (120 dgrs.F.) the dishwasher fills properly (water level should be 1 in. deep in the center of the tub). Remove the lower kickplate and retrieve the tech data sheet attached to the back and conduct the water service test mode. You may want to program the control to the china cycle(shortest wash cycle), deselect any options, and allow the machine to run a cycle( it'll take 90 to 120 minutes) and recheck to see if there are any error codes and the machine shuts down.
