Robert for Model Number FPID2495QFOA The dishwasher appears to complete it's cycle except for the last drying cycle. The unit will keep running (stuck in this cycle) until I turn off the breaker. Is there a separate sensor to replace? Thanks
Answer Robert, There would not be a sensor for this issue but would be more likely a bad main control board that is faulty. The part number for the main control will be 5304517663. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, January 29, 2018
Answer Robert, No, there is no "separate sensor" for the dry cycle(other than the hi limit/safety thermostat). If there were an issue with the heater circuit, the control panel should display an error code. Then check the water temperature in the tub on the first fill of the cycle " An automatic sensor will check the incoming water temperature and, if it is not hot enough, the cycle will be lengthened for automatic water heating in the main wash and final rinse of all cycles. This happens even when HI-TEMP WASH option has not be selected. When HI-TEMP WASH is selected, an even higher temperature will be reached to handle heavier soil loads." This will also extend the overall run time of the cycle. also check to see what options have been chosen for the cycle selected. If the problem persists, replace the control board. Read More...
